Welcome to the Carnival of Creativity! 🎪🎨 Dive into a world where art meets the enchanting spirit of the circus at ArtLab Owensboro’s unique four-day camp! This summer, your child can join us from Monday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, for a spectacular adventure designed for children who have completed kindergarten through 6th grade. Camp Highlights: Marvelous Marionettes: Craft your very own puppet on strings! Each camper will design and assemble a marionette, bringing to life a character of their creation. Whether it's a daring trapeze artist or a wily clown, these marionettes are sure to dance their way into your child's imagination. Agamograph Adventures: Merge art and optical illusion with the Agamograph, a visual masterpiece that changes depending on the angle you view it from. Campers will create their own dual-image artwork that flips magically between two festive circus scenes. Woven Wonders: Sweeten the deal with a whimsical, woven lollipop. This project combines color, pattern, and texture to teach the basics of weaving, creating a delightful and vibrant art piece that looks almost good enough to eat! Our camp is not just about creating art—it’s about stoking the fires of creativity and empowering young minds to explore and express themselves. The camp environment is fun, welcoming, and perfect for making new friends. Each day is carefully structured to balance engaging artistic activities with plenty of time for play and sharing.
