Techno Glow Evening Art Camp Dates: July 20–23, 2026 Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM Ages: 7–13 Location: 1722A Sweeney Street, Owensboro, KY Ready for a camp that is all about bold color and building? Techno Glow is a four-night evening camp designed for older kids and tweens who want to make art that stands out. We are turning down the regular studio lights and turning up the blacklights so students can watch their neon creations come to life while they work. This camp is packed with painting, building, and structural design. Kids will dive into unique art styles and make pieces that literally glow. What We'll Make: Googie-Inspired Mobiles: Kids will design and build retro 3D hanging sculptures inspired by mid-century Googie signs. They will work out how to construct and balance bright, geometric shapes. Op Art Paintings : We will dive into the world of optical illusions. Students will paint high-contrast patterns and build sculptures that look like they are moving. Blacklight reactive sculpture--Kids will make their own abstract scuplture to paint and display. Take-Home Blacklight: Every student takes home their own functional blacklight fixture so they can set up a glowing display in their own room. A Note for Parents: I am working for you and your kids to have the best possible experience! This evening slot fits easily into busy summer schedules. It is a full drop-off camp, so you get a two-hour break while your kids stay busy creating. Best of all, we handle every bit of the cleanup, so you do not have to worry about neon paint or mess in your house. Our pricing is all-inclusive, meaning all specialty glowing paints, building materials, and the take-home light are included in the flat fee. Spots are limited for this special evening session.
