🎨 Family & Homeschool Art Studio This class is a dedicated space for families and homeschoolers to dive into the building blocks of art. We focus on the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design through projects that change with the seasons. All projects are secular. 🌎 📐 Art for Every Age I design the main lessons for 7 to 9-year-olds, but I adjust the work for whoever is in the studio. I am working for you and your kids to make sure everyone has a successful experience! For Younger Artists: We use helpful tools like pre-drawn lines or pre-cut shapes. This helps them feel proud of what they make without getting frustrated. Note: If you bring a preschooler, please plan to stay and help them with the hands-on parts. 🖐️ For Older Students: I give more technical tips and harder design challenges. We focus on skill-building and manual dexterity to keep them engaged. ✏️ ✨ The Art Lab Way Process Over Product: We value the "aha!" moments and finding out how materials work. It’s about building confidence and learning to make marks without fear. 🖌️ A "Digital Detox": This is a break from screens. We focus on the smell of the paint and the texture of the clay. 📵 No Mess at Home: You get to enjoy the creative process with your child, and I handle all the supplies and the cleanup. 🧼 📍 Location: 1722A Sweeney Street, Owensboro, KY.
