Service Description

Session 1: April 6 & April 7 (Mon/Tue) Title: Caribbean Rhythms & Tides: A 2-Day Exploration Time: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM (Must attend both days) Ages Kg-6th grade Join me for a two-day immersion into the sights and sounds of the Caribbean! This workshop is designed as an unhurried, 2-day experience where the focus is on sensory exploration and the joy of making. Decorative Conga Drums: We’ll explore the sculptural process of paper mache, focusing on the texture and form of island percussion. Students will enjoy the hands-on experience of building and the freedom of decorating their decorative drums with personal patterns. The Tidal Wave Sunset: We will experiment with color blending and light using high-quality acrylics. Using a thoughtfully scaffolded approach, I’ll help students explore how to represent the movement of water and the glow of a sunset in their own unique style. The Art Lab Advantage: This is a space where there are no "mistakes," only discoveries. I handle the setup and cleanup so your artist can focus entirely on the joy of making. Registration covers both days and all materials ($70).
