Service Description
In Robotics 1 the students explored movement and motors. In intermediate, the students will become familiar with sensors. We will continue to build simple robots to examine the uses of sensors. Students will synthesize their previous and new knowledge to create a robot that solves a specific problem. In this course, students will continue to use their critical and creative thinking skills. They will need to develop a habit of reflecting on their work, and communicating with their peers. Students will be expected to make connections between the design of the robot (engineering) and the programming of the robot (computer science). There are no products to take home with this course. Students will build robots with class materials and the will be taken apart to use again.
