Service Description

Structured like "Art Intrigue," family art will focus on DOING art. By doing art, we will explore the elements of art, principles of design and different materials and techniques. Students will also be introduced to one or two artists as we discuss different ways to make art. We will use a variety of materials including paper, paint, clay, ink, glue and textiles. Projects generally take 2-3 weeks. Students will end the course with 2-3 different projects. Syllabus is provided at the first class. What makes this class different than Art Intrigue is the family aspect. The course is structured to be appropriate for kids 4+ with an adult helper. If your child is older and independent, the adult can do their own art. One adult helper is included with the cost of the child's enrollment. It does not have to be the same adult each week. One adult may register up to three kids. Space in the class is limited to 8 children but may be adjusted based on the number/size of families who register.
