Service Description
This course is structured for adults who want to learn to paint with watercolors. Topics will include: choosing supplies, beginning color theory, basic techniques, and brush control. This course will help you to choose supplies based on comparing materials and setting your budget. You can begin with materials for less than $30, but you will have the chance to experience the difference higher quality materials provide. We will also explore color mixing and the benefits and limitations of choosing large vs. small pallets. We will learn about and explore wet on wet, wet on dry, dry brushing, and layering. Exercises to improve brush control will be taught, and use techniques that are widely used by watercolor artists. Please do not buy supplies before the first class unless you already know what you want. Some materials I can bulk order and save you money if we have multiple people ordering.
