This course covers the A to Z of 3D printing in a fun, engaging, and safe environment, ensuring a solid foundation in this cutting-edge technology. What Will Students Learn? Introduction to 3D Design: Using Tinkercad, a user-friendly, web-based design tool, students will learn to create their own 3D models. No prior experience necessary—just bring your creativity! Slicing Strategies: Understand the crucial process of slicing your 3D design for optimal printing, making informed decisions on print orientation, support structures, and layer height. 3D Printer Safety: Learn the dos and don'ts of 3D printing to ensure a safe experience for everyone. Hands-On Experience: Students will print at least two of their original designs, experiencing the thrill of bringing their digital creations to physical reality. Requirements: Students are required to bring a tablet or computer and a mouse to each class. Our web-based software is accessible and easy to use, requiring no installations.
